The average career life of a massage therapist is 7 years. This is what they told us in school and it does seem average. I have met therapists that have continued to practice for 15, 20 years or more. And others who physically could not take anymore work after a few years. What I would like to know - What self care and overuse injury prevention are other therapists using to maintain longevity in their careers?

Yes, therapists continue to maintain their careers for longer period. Even I am excited to know about their secret. ;-)
