Building an email list is key. If you go to events and meet people, you can friend them on Facebook and also send them emails. Whenever you have an opening, you can send them an email to make an appointment. If you use Mail Chimp, you can add up to 2,000 email addresses and send them emails for free. Creating a list is a really good idea to keep in touch with people that you have met. You can also send them special offers.

Another thing you can do is offer free chair massages at community events or chamber of commerce meetings. It's a great way to get to know people. Make sure you have a list for people waiting in line and include the option for them to enter their contact information including their email address. Be sure to bring your business cards and brochures. People will remember how good you made them feel and and are more likely to book a massage since they have met you in person.

The first email you send can just be a simple personal email saying that it was nice to meet them during the chair massage event. That way you'll be in their thoughts when they are thinking about getting a massage and your contact information will be in their inbox.
