I'm interested in massage therapy and i started my research and came across a site that was pretty informative. The school is called National Massage Therapy Institute (NMTI)and they offer a ton of training, but what i want to know is two things. One, is this a good school? Have anyone heard of this school? Is it legit? And Two, what is Shiatsu?

Jordan11,

Yes, NMTI is legit. NMTI is an accredited school that was established in 1986. The schools curriculum covers 18 techniques through 600 hours of instruction. Shiatsu massage is more commonly known as a great form of a deep tissue massage. The massage works its way deeply into the tissue giving great relaxation benefits. Before embarking on a career as a MT you may want to do some more research. I found this to be very helpful and informative http://www.massage-certification.com/

Good Luck
