I am a Physical Therapist's Assistant currently attending school for MT in Florida. Am I allowed to use 'massage time' gained at work in the PT clinic towards my practicum hours for the course? I have been told yes and no... I have tried to send an email to Fl Association of MT but my emails always come back undeliverable... Please help!! Thanks!

I would say NO. What you do there is different from Massage.

Hello,

Although I cannot tell you for sure what your group will accept (as they are all different) but it would seem that that is the purpose of the practicum hours - to give you credit for experience. Work experience is the best kind and would certainly in most cases be considered toward your study.
